It works ! (1999 wacom tablet under Linux Debian)

It took me a few months of headaches, and pain trying by myself, but finally I got in touch with the developper of the module used to interface with this kind of old tablets, he helped me knowing where the problem is and there is indeed a problem with the last version in the recognition of this model so I'm using an older version he linked to me and it works ! (he will apparently fix the problem as soon as possible in a next version).

So I made a little try under GIMP to see how bad I am with graphics tablets, especially with small screenless ones (I'm not complaining as I got it for free) and indeed I was better on my DIY 12" "Cintiq" that is torn apart right now for reparations, than on this 5" PenPartner but at still the support is much better than on Windows where the old driver was buggy (and not getting fixed because wacom dropped the support for their serial tablets, even though those tablets are their product so that should be an obligation, that's why they suck !), and also the driver made a lot of errors appear, where under linux it's recognised without any problem by GIMP (or any other supporting program) and this is a really practical device, the only remaining problem being me who sucks at using it !

the Penpartner photo is from google's images (probably originates from an hardware selling store)
all the other stuff was made under Gimp on Debian Jessie 64 using 100% free software (well I have UrbanTerror that is not free software but soon enough I'll move it on another PC so that my workstation will be true 100% free software certified !
